Through relational and trauma-informed practice, high-quality inclusive teaching, relational and restorative approaches, we seek to understand and address barriers to learning while maintaining clear and ambitious expectations. We believe that positive relationships are the foundation for learning and that every student can develop the skills to succeed.

We believe that every interaction is a learning experience, and every learning experience must be an opportunity for progress. Whether in the classroom, during social times or when responding to behaviour, we use every interaction as an opportunity to teach, model, connect and support students to develop.

These values provide a simple, consistent framework for the behaviours and relationships we seek to promote across our school community.

Alongside our core values, we explicitly develop four key attributes that support students to thrive at Greenwood and beyond. These are our 4 R's: Resilience, Reflectiveness, Resourcefulness and Relationships.

We believe these attributes can be taught, practised and developed through everyday experiences and interactions.
