KS3 students at Greenwood will be given the opportunity to explore and develop skills in art through different media and starting points which is recognised with AQA certificate awards.  A flexible approach means that individual students needs, experience and interests inform their bespoke learning journey's.  Safe and challenging opportunities to create in the art, builds students resourcefulness, resilience and ability to reflect.  These are valuable attributes required throughout the curriculum and beyond Greenwood.  

 

KS4 Art students will work towards a Level One BTEC qualification or a GCSE which is mostly dependent on previous experience and attendance.  Students will continue to develop skills in the classroom whilst being encouraged to work independently bringing their own thoughts and ideas.  Both qualifications require significant amounts of coursework which is created in lesson time.​​
